Details for Out of TownersHotel InformationThe wedding reception will be held at the Nassau Inn. We have blocked rooms at the Nassau Inn for the nights preceding and following the wedding. Rooms are being held for the Prisament/Bert wedding at a discounted rate of $149 for a standard room and $249 for a suite (plus tax). If you are quoted a higher rate or a told the block is full please contact us immediately. We can add more rooms to the block and allow you to book at the discounted rate. Due to the conditions of the contract we are only able to block a limited number of rooms at a time. Once these are full we may be able to add more rooms, but this is not guaranteed. We therefore highly encourage you to make your reservation early to guarantee that you will receive the special rate. Blocked rooms will be released on July 3, 2008. After this date you will be charged the hotel's going rate ($249 for a standard room, subject to change and availability). Transportation InformationThe closest airport to Princeton, NJ is Newark (EWR), located 40 miles to the north. NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor line railroad runs a direct connection between Newark airport and Princeton University. The Nassau Inn is an easy half mile walk from Princeton train station. We suggest you fly into Newark and take the train to Princeton. The Princeton Chapel, the Nassau Inn, the train station and all of downtown Princeton are within walking distance of each other. Moreover, parking in Princeton in very limited. The Nassau Inn charges an additional daily parking fee. If you plan on renting a car, you may be able to get a cheaper airfare by flying into Philadelphia (55 miles south), LaGuardia or JFK airports. All of them are within driving distance from Princeton. The NJ Transit station located right on campus makes Princeton accessible by train. If you ride the Northeast Corridor line buy a ticket to 'Princeton', not 'Princeton Junction'. Get off the train at Princeton Junction and switch to the Dinky train which will take you right into downtown Princeton. The train station is located on University Avenue. Walk north on University Avenue and make a right on Nassau street, continue one block and turn left into to Plamer Square. The Nassau Inn is loacted in the center of Palmer Square. The NJ Transit Northeast corridor line is connected to Amtrak and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), making it possible to get to Princeton from New York, Philadelphia or indeed anywhere Amtrak can take you. You can also find driving directions to Princeton and maps of campus on Princeton University's website. A map of important wedding locations in Princeton is below. ParkingFree parking is available in Lots 10 and 10A on William St. If arriving on Washington Rd turn east onto William St. There are signs saying "Permit required", however, it is not enforced on the weekends. Feel free to park there during the ceremony as well as the reception.
